March 8, 1966 Miss Susan Warner was appointed Assistant Organist for the Intermediate Choir and Miss Pam Mohr as Assistant Organist for the Junior Choir; each to receive $2.00 whenever they played for their respective choirs on Sundays.
As a candle light service was being considered in 1948, the matter of placing the candles for the service was discussed. It was finally decided to purchase and have painted white 2” x 2” posts to be placed at the ends of the pews with holes drilled in the top to hold the candles, the posts to be about six feet high.
On November 27, 1938 at a congregational meeting, the Building Fund Committee was authorized to take care of remodeling and renovating the church interior. At this meeting the Sunday School classes were asked to take up a separate offering each Sunday for the Building Fund with the total amount of the offering to be handed over to the Church Treasurer at the end of each month. The Building Fund was thus started.
At a meeting of the Council held on September 28, 1938 a committee was appointed to prepare for the celebration of our 25th anniversary next summer. Those appointed were: Edwin Greiman, Roy Fink, James Fitzkee, D.J. May, John Krebs, Anna Arnold, Anna Kinports, Mrs. Grace Small, Mrs. John Fritz & Mrs. Ramon Ruby.
